James is an experienced project and operations manager, having deployed multiple industrial-scale bitcoin mining developments, solar developments, and other industrial electrical installations in North America.

Most recently, James was Head of Site Operations for Hut 8 Mining, a publicly traded bitcoin mining company with multiple +30 MW bitcoin mining facilities in Canada. James’ most recent project was the oversight of design, development, construction, energization, and daily operations for Hut 8’s site in North Bay, Ontario.

Prior to joining Hut 8, James has been an electrical superintendent, construction coordinator, area authority, and electrical commissioning technician for several energy companies and utilities, with a particular focus on the development of solar projects.
